Andrew, who lives in the West Midlands was given a medical discharge from the Army having served for 9 years. His knee injury continued to worsen and now Andrew uses a wheelchair 90% of the time. Having lived an outdoor and active life Andrew managed to keep his mind engaged but struggled to remain physically fit. Andrew raised half the money towards a hand-cycle and DTD Charity was able to help by funding the remainder. Within a few weeks Andrew was able to increase the distance he could cycle and wrote to say, "Thanks again for helping me get this wonderful machine."
